  Xiangyang Li

Dr. Xiang-Yang Li is a professor and executive dean at School of Computer Science and Technology at University of Science and Technology of China. He is an IEEE Fellow and an ACM Distinguished Scientist. He is currently Co-chair of ACM China, and a member of ACM publication board member. He was a professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is recipient of China National Funds for Overseas Distinguished Young Scientist (B) in 2008, and recipient of China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientist in 2016. Dr. Li received MS (2000) and PhD (2001) degree at Department of Computer Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor degree at Department of Computer Science and a Bachelor degree at Department of Business Management from Tsinghua University, P.R. China, both in 1995. His research interests include wireless networking, mobile computing, security and privacy, cyber physical systems, data sharing and trading, and algorithms. He and his students won several best paper awards, best demo award, and best poster award. His Google scholar citation is more than 20,000 and H-Index is 72. He published a monograph "Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks: Theory and Applications". He has served as an editor of several international journals, such as ACM/ IEEE Transaction on Networking, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TMC.

  Ke Xu

Dr. Ke Xu is a tenured professor, doctoral tutor, vice-dean of the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has won the State Technological Invention Award Second Prize, the State Technological Invention Award Second Prize, the CVIC SE Talent Award and the China Computer Federation Young Scientist Award, and a council member of Chinese Institute of Electronics and China Computer Federation. He is the vice president of SIGCOMM China and has published more than 100 papers in well-known international conferences and journals, such as ACM SIGCOMM, IEEE/ACM TON, and IEEE Communication Magazine. In the past five years, he has obtained more than 40 Chinese invention patents licensing and 8 US invention patents. He is the author of "Algorithm Defined the World ", "Computer Network Architecture¡ªDesign, Modeling, Analysis and Optimization", and many other books.

  Hong Shen

Dr. Hong Shen is a specially-appointed Professor in Sun Yat-sen University where he was the foundation Director of Institute for Advanced Computing. With main research interests in parallel and distributed computing, algorithms, data mining, privacy preserving computing, wireless and optical networks, he has led numerous research centers and projects in different countries. He has published 400+ papers including over 100 papers in major international journals such as a variety of IEEE and ACM transactions. Prof. Shen has received many honours and awards including China National Endowed Expert, Chinese Academy of Sciences ¡°Hundred Talents¡±, Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award, and Chinese Academy of Sciences Natural Sciences Award. He is a member of Executive Board of IEEE Technical Committee for Parallel Processing (TCPP), and has served on the editorial boards of numerous journals and chaired many conferences.

  Xianxian Li

Li Xianxian is a professor and the dean of the school of computer science and information technology, Guangxi Normal University. He is selected the science and technology innovation leader of national high-level personnel of special support program (Ten-thousand Talents Program), and honored the ¡°Bagui Scholar¡± in Guangxi. His research area includes Network security, Data security and privacy, and Intelligent computing. His two achievements have won the Second Award of the Scientific and Technological Progress of the State, and one achievement has won the First Award of National Defense Science and Technology. As the principal investigator, he has completed multiple national research projects including the National ¡°863¡± Program, the National ¡°973¡± Program, and the National Natural Science Funds, etc. He has published more than 50 papers in international and national prestigious journals and academic conferences. He has also served as the general chair or PC-chair of several international academic conferences.

  Xiangjian-He

Professor Xiangjian He is the Director of Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Laboratory at the Global Big Data Technologies Centre (GBDTC) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

 He is an IEEE Senior Member and has been an IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Committee member. He received a UTS Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence in 2018. He has also been awarded 'Internationally Registered Technology Specialist' by International Technology Institute (ITI). He has been carrying out research mainly in the areas of image processing, network security, pattern recognition, computer vision and machine learning in the previous years. He is a leading researcher in several research areas, and has recently been leading his reesarch teams for deep-learning-based and/or machine-learning-based research in the areas of human behavious recognition on a single image, human counting in a crowd, tiny object detection, 3D medical image restoration, image processing based on hexagonal structure, authorship identification of a document and a document¡¯s components (e.g., sentences, sections etc.), network and cyber security, car license plate recognition of high speed moving vehicles with changeable and complex background, and video tracking with motion blur.

Yunquan Zhang, Ph.D., Director of Parallel Software Laboratory, Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Research Professor, Director of National Supercomputer Center in Jinan. The main research fields are big data parallel processing, parallel programming and performance evaluation, parallel computing and parallel programming model.

  Anfeng Liu

Anfeng Liu received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Central South University, China, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, both in computer science. He is currently a professor of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Central South University, China. His major research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, information security, edge computing and crowdsourcing. Dr. Liu has published 4 books and over 150 international journal and conference papers, among which there are more than 30 ESI highly-cited papers. Some of his works were published in the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics & Security, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems. His research has been supported by the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China for five times. He was a recipient of the First Prize of Scientific Research Achievement of Colleges from the Ministry of Education of China in 2016. He has served as editor board member of IEEE Networking Letters and Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks, the Leading Editor of the special issue for International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, and a guest editor of the special issues for IEEE Access, Scientific Programming, and Sensors.

  Qingshan Liu

Qingshan Liu is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and the dean of the School of Automation at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He graduated from the State Key Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtained his Ph.D. in April 2003, and then stayed in the laboratory. He went to Rutger University to visit and work in April 2006, and joined Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in September 2011. He has been selected as a Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province, a leading talent of Jiangsu Province Shuangchuang Team, an excellent educator of Jiangsu Province, and a young and middle-aged innovation leader in the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is the vice chairman of the Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Society, the deputy director of the Chinese Society of Automation Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Committee, the Multimedia Committee of the China Computer Society and the Standing Committee of the Computer Vision Committee. His main research interests are image and video analysis, computer vision, and machine learning. He has successively presided over the National Outstanding Youth Fund Project, the National Natural Science Fund Key Project, the Surface Project, and the Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund. He won the second prize of the 2016 Ministry of Education Natural Science as the first completed person, the second prize of the 2017 Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Achievement and the First Prize of 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science, and won the First prize of 2018 China Electronics Society Natural Science as the third completed person and so on.

  Xiangzeng Liu

Xiangzeng Liu, Ph.D., Associate Professor, School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University. He graduated from the Department of Applied Mathematics of Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2011, and engaged in postdoctoral research in the 771th Institute, Aerospace Science and Technology Company in 2015-2017. He went to Carnegie Mellon University as a visiting scholar in 2016-2017. At present, he is mainly engaged in teaching and research work in computer vision and image processing. His research interests include multi-source remote sensing image registration and fusion, target recognition and tracking, infrared image non-uniformity correction, and detail enhancement. He has published more than 20 papers in international journals and conferences, and applied for 4 patents. He presided over or participated in the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key Research and Development Plan, the Pre-research of the General Armament Department, the Military 863, the Aerospace Electronics Research Institute and other applied research projects, with a total funding of over 10 million.

  Lin Mei

Lin Mei, Ph.D, a researcher at the IoT Technology Reseach Center of the Third Institute of the Ministry of Public Security. He is the director of the Shanghai Intelligent Video Surveillance Engineering Technology Research Center, and professor of Huashan Scholars at Xidian University. He was awarded Shanghai Excellent Technology Leader by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission in 2015. He won the first prize of the Ministry of Public Security Science and Technology Progress (ranked second) due to the project of the "Video Structured Description of Key Technology Research and Application Demonstration" in 2018. His main research areas include computer vision, artificial intelligence, IoT applications, and big data processing. He planned a new generation of video surveillance network system, video police application product system and related standard system, which laid the foundation for the large-scale deep application of public security video surveillance during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.

  SHAOHUA TANG

SHAOHUA TANG (M99) received the B.Sc. And M.Sc. degrees in applied mathematics from the South China University of Technology, China, in 1991 and 1994, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from the South China University of Technology, in 1998. He was a Visiting Scholar with North Carolina State University, USA, and a Visiting Professor with the University of Cincinnati, USA. He has been a Full Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, since 2004. He is also a jointly appointed full professor with the Peng Cheng Laboratory, Shenzhen, China. He has authored or co-authored over 100 technical papers in journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include information security, data security, and privacy preserving in cloud computing and big data. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.

Liping Ding is currently a professor in the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Director of the Committee of Computer Forensics Experts in Chinese Electronic Institute, a part-time researcher in the Law School of China Renmin University, a guest professor in the Information College of Central University of Finance and Economics £¨CUFE£©, a part-time professor in the Software Institute of South China University of Technology, and a part-time researcher in the Third Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security.

Her research interest includes computer forensics, information security, and trusted computing. She has published more than 60 academic papers, an academic book, series training books in the fields of digital forensics and system security. She has finished more than ten national research projects and got six Chinese technical patents on digital forensics and system security.

Dr. Guicai Li is an associate professor working in National Satellite Meteorological Center (NSMC), China Meteorological Administrator (CMA) . He acquired his Ph.D. in Cartography & GIS from Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2004. He mainly worked in the developing of operational systems for satellite production applications, ecosystem simulation and algorithm developing, including the vegetation parameters and other land surface products. He published more than 50 research papers in relative research fields.

  QIU Yubao

Dr. QIU Yubao has been an associate professor at Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences (RADI-CAS) since receiving his Ph.D. in 2008. He specializes in the microwave remote sensing, particularly Earth Observations. In March 2012, he began his secondment as the Scientific and Technical Officer, P4 level, at Secretary to Group on Earth Observations (GEO) based in Geneva, supporting the Water component-information services for cold regions, Ecosystems and data sharing. There, he has been brokering most of the EO programs and application developments. He was with the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) and Finnish Metrological Institute (FMI) as a visiting scientist. Currently, he is also working as the PI for three National level projects funded by MOST and Chinese Academy of Science. In 2017, he started to co-chair the working group on High Mountain and Polar Cold Regions under Belt and Road Initiative (DBAR-HiMAC), and co-lead (PoC) to the GEO Cold Regions Initiative (CRI) under Group of Earth Observations, he is also service as the member at the IEEE INSP group, and onboard the advisory committee of EU-H2020 project - INTAROS.

Mingquan Wu, Ph.D., associate researcher. State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mainly engaged in major engineering remote sensing monitoring and agricultural remote sensing monitoring. Member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He presided over more than 20 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Major Project, the Major State Basic Research Development Program of China, the leading project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the annual report of remote sensing monitoring of ecological environment of the National Remote Sensing Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He systematically carried out remote sensing monitoring of major projects in the Belt and Road region, and is a pioneer in this field in China. He is one of the technical backbones of the new generation of crop area remote sensing sampling survey technology methods in China. He systematically proposed a set of spatio-temporal fusion methods for multi-source remote sensing data, ranking fourth in the number of SCI papers in this field. He has published more than 60 papers, including 19 SCI papers by the first author or correspondent author. He is a reviewer of more than 10 international remote sensing journals, such as Remote Sensing of Environment, Remote Sensing, IEEE Trans. on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Journal of Remote Sensing, etc.

Dr. Jianfeng Du, from the school of Information Science and Technology, Guangdong University of Foreign Study, is a professor in Artificial Intelligence and a committee member of the Language and Knowledge Computing Professional Committee in Chinese Information Processing Society of China. He achieved the PhD degree from the State Key Laboratory of Computer Science, Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. His research focuses on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Natural Language Processing and other subareas of Artificial Intelligence. He has visited the Griffith University in Australia, the Lancaster University and the University of Aberdeen in UK as visiting scholars. Dr. Hao Shao, graduated from Kyushu University, Japan, is now the director of the AI lab in Gowild Robotics company. He led the team to build the interactive framework of chatbot product ¡°Gongzi Xiaobai¡±and AI Virtual Life product ¡°Hupo Xuyan¡±. He was honored as the first outstanding talents prize in Jing¡¯an District of Shanghai. He is now a member of Youth Working Committee as well as Language and Knowledge Computing Committee, of Chinese Information Processing Society of China. He is also a member of YOCSEF Shanghai as well as Task Force on Speech Dialogue and Auditory Processing, of China Computer Federation. Dr. Hao Shao have published more than 40 papers and the first book in the industry about Chatbot. He hosts a number of national and provincial projects. He has been a visiting scholar at the United Nations, WTO, Arizona State University and City University of Hong Kong.

  Peng Peng

Peng Peng is an Assistant Professor in the College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Hunan University. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Beijing Normal University in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Peking University in 2016. His research interests include distributed database systems, knowledge graph management, and semantic web. He has published a lot of papers in many well-known journals, like VLDB Journal, TKDE and Information Systems. He has published many papers in some famous conferences, like ICDE, EDBT and DASFAA. His research paper has once selected as the best of conference (DASFAA¡¯18). He also won the best demo award in APWeb-WAIM 2019.

His major research interests include dark web threat intelligence, malware analysis, intelligence security analysis and so on. He totally published more than 10 papers, 3 patents for invention, and participated in more than 10 projects as core staff including national key research and development project, National Natural Science Foundation of China and so on.

  Shanshan Zhang

Prof. Shanshan Zhang received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tongji University, China, in 2008 and 2011 respectively. In Feb. 2015, she obtained the PhD degree in computer science from University of Bonn, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Armin B. Cremers and Prof. Christian Bauckhage. Her PhD thesis won honorable mention for GI-Dissertationspreis 2015. From Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2016, she worked as a postdoc researcher with Prof. Bernt Schiele at Max Planck Institute of Informatics (MPII), Saarbruecken, Germany. She joined Nanjing University of Science and Technology as a full professor in Dec. 2016. Her research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition and deep learning.
